Step 1: Add new Tax
First, add the tax from tax settings page, Settings > Taxes > '+ Add New Tax'.
Enter a name and the tax percentage.
Step 2: Assign the tax to products
Add tax to products from Product details page or in bulk through Product import
You can open the Product list, click on any product SKU to access its product details page. You can locate the Tax input on the same page.
You can also import the taxes in bulk by specifying the tax name in the tax column in exported Product list file.
You can only upload 5000 products in a single import. If you have more than 5000 products, you could split the number of products into multiple CSV files and upload them.
Step 3: Taxes assigned
Taxes will be automatically selected and applied in Purchase orders for the products.
