How do I check the bundle cost report and how is bundle cost calculated?

You can check the bundle cost report by going to Reports → Bundle Cost Report.

How bundle cost is calculated

A bundle's cost is the sum of the weighted average landed costs (WALC) of all its components, each multiplied by the quantity of that component in the bundle.

Example: If a bundle contains 2 units of Component A (landed cost $50) and 1 unit of Component B (landed cost $30), the bundle cost would be: (2 × $50) + (1 × $30) = $130.

Whenever the weighted average landed cost of any component is updated — for example, when a new purchase order is received — the bundle's cost is automatically recalculated to reflect the latest component costs.

Syncing bundle cost to Shopify

If the setting to push bundle product costs to Shopify is turned on, Sumtracker can update the bundle cost on Shopify as well. This keeps your Shopify product cost in sync with the calculated bundle cost in Sumtracker.
