Invite team members and assign permissions
As the account owner, you can invite other team members to Sumtracker and control what each of them can access.
Inviting team members
Send invites to your team from the Manage Users page under Settings. Each invited user receives an email to set up their account and join your workspace.
Admin vs. regular users
When inviting a user, you can choose to assign them as an Admin or as a regular user.
- Admin — gets full access to all features in Sumtracker, including settings and user management.
- Regular user — gets access only to the permissions you assign them.
Assigning permissions
Once a user accepts your invite, you can assign granular permissions to them from their user profile on the Manage Users page.
Sumtracker offers permissions across all major areas of the app — products, inventory, sales orders, purchase orders, stock transfers, warehouses, sales channels, billing, and more. Each permission can be granted independently, so you can tailor access to match each team member's role.
For example, you might give a warehouse manager permissions to manage inventory and stock transfers, while a finance team member only gets access to view sales orders and manage billing.
